Rhoda Yee, a native of China, has been teaching Asian cooking for the past 25 years both locally and nationally. She is the author of three cookbooks on Chinese cuisine and has appeared on national TV programs—Good Morning America, Hour Magazine, and Yan Can Cook, and has also worked closely with Martin Yan for his cooking school and television program. She was an owner and active partner in a Chinese-Jewish Deli/Cafe in Walnut Creek for three years until she sold her business and resumed her teaching career at the California Culinary Academy.
