![]() Julie Tan Chef Julie has nearly 30 years of professional cooking experience and has traveled the world over in the process. She has worked extensively for celebrity chef Martin Yan, as excutive chef and studio coordinator and as recipe and cookbook developer. Julie holds the unique knowledge of Nonya Cuisine, a highly safeguarded cooking style in her home country of Malaysia as well as Singapore. Trained in the art of French cuisine at the California Culinary Academy, she later joined the academy as a chef/instructor, and appeared in the academy's PBS television series, "The Academy's World Cuisine". Julie is a member of the American Culinary Federation and the Chefs' Association of the Pacific Coast. |
