A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Jonathan's extensive culinary background includes recipe testing and food writing. He played a key role as developer for Williams-Sonoma's supply chain in food merchandising; he currently works as the buyer of cook's tools for their more than 250 stores in the US and Canada. As a significant contributor to the retail food industry, Jonathan was awarded the Gourmet News "Top 20 under 40" Award in 2004. Jonathan is also a member of the Research Chefs' Association.
