Mat Schuster is Food and Beverage Director and Executive Chef at San Francisco’s esteemed Bay Club where he excels in fresh, naturally healthful cuisine. His cooking career took off after a trip to Italy while in college, prompting him to enroll in the California Culinary Academy’s College of Food in San Diego. Mat recently earned a nutrition educator accreditation from Bauman College in Berkeley. Previously, Mat has been a class manager and cooking instructor for Draeger’s Culinary Center and cooking class coordinator and instructor for Whole Foods Market. He is also an ongoing instructor at a number of renowned local cooking schools, including: Parties that Cook, Sur la Table, Ramekins, and others.
