Laxmi, a veteran writer on Indian cuisine, has written The Dance of Spices and Laxmi's Vegetarian Kitchen, as well as articles for Bon Appétit, Sunset, Better Homes & Gardens, and the San Francisco Chronicle. From her Indian American kitchen she launched Laxmi's Delights, her specialty food line of spiced nuts and spreads.
