![]() Scott Barton Chef and Consultant Member since 1995In his 15 years of cooking, Scott Barton has seen a wide variety of restaurant kitchens from New York to San Francisco. He began with a disciplined French cooking background at New York’s Odéon Restaurant, which led him to 8 apprenticeships with renowned chefs throughout France. Since then, Scott has experimented with cooking styles from around the globe; from seafood, at Aqua and Plouf in San Francisco, to Caribbean at Miss Pearl’s Jam House, to Asian Fusion at Cafe 1843 in Berkeley. Diversity has been a key element in Scott’s career as he moved on to the Heartbeat Restaurant in New York with a focus on spa cuisine. Scott also opened Voyage in Greenwich Village which takes you on a culinary tour that wanders from South America to the American South. Most recently, Scott has been consulting at Counter in the East Village. Counter is an organic Vegetarian Restaurant and Wine Bar that has its own organic garden that supplements wholesale and local farmer supplies. Scott brings his range of expertise and experience to every project for CCD which makes him an invaluable member of our Council. |
